NEWS ROUNDUP — Labyrinth looks to Venezuela

Having agreed to acquire a majority interest in a gold property in the Guyana district of Venezuela, Bema Gold (TSE) plans to transfer the property to its 76%-owned subsidiary, Labyrinth Resource (VSE).

Terms of the property agreement have yet to be released, and the transfer is subject to final negotiations and regulatory approval.

Bema is also negotiating to acquire additional property in the area from the vendors.
