Several new geophysical anomalies have been delineated on the Collins Point area of the Fer property in northern Manitoba, reports owner Canmine Resources (CDN).
Collins Point is one kilometre west of the Fer zone where geologic reserves were recently calculated at 1.7 million tonnes grading 3.21% zinc, 0.68% copper, 0.34% lead, 15.4 grams silver and one gram gold per tonne. The reserves are in three zones with an average thickness of 1.28 metres and a strike length of 1.2 km.
A transient electromagnetic survey, which is effective in outlining deep, horizontal zones, located five anomalies. Three of the conductors have minimum strike lengths of 100 metres, one measures 300 metres, and the last is at least 600 metres long. In most cases, the conductors are at vertical depths of fewer than 80 metres, but one of the anomalies lies at a vertical depth of more than 250 metres. The deep conductor may be an extension of the Fer zone at depth.
Drill-testing of the project is to begin soon.
