Willingdon hits thin, rich zone at Kenora

A 2,216-ft. drilling program on Willingdon Resources’ (COATS) Sioux Narrows property near Kenora, Ont., has intersected the gold-bearing structure in all six holes. Results from the shallow, narrow zone include 1 ft. grading 1.4 oz. gold per ton in hole 90-1 and 3.1 ft. grading 0.15 oz. in hole 90-5. The structure has been outlined over a 700-ft. strike length and to a depth of 400 ft.

Willingdon has staked additional claims on the projected downdip and strike extensions of the zone and drilling is expected to resume shortly.
