Vancouver-listed Republic Goldfields has identified two potential open-pit zones at the Congress gold project in Arizona.
Reverse circulation drilling has partially defined the Golden Wave and Bellick zones, which sit 4,500 ft. north and 4,000 ft. east, respectively, of the Congress mill. Metallurgical testing for heap-leach recoverability is under way.
A second, 6,000-ft. program to delineate new reserves is under way at the past-producing property.
