Robert Parsons, president of JKS Boyles, recently announced the merger of the JKS line of cutting and coring diamond tools with Lamage, a subsidiary of JKS Boyles since 1983. The new company will be named JKS/Lamage, with its headquarters in North Bay, Ont. JKS and Lamage, formerly corporate affiliate manufacturers, used to serve the construction and stone industries independently.
JKS/Lamage, taking advantage of the U.S.-Canada Free Trade agreement, plans to expand into the U.S. and international markets despite the current recession.
“Our focus in the future will be on research and development in order to fully service our customers’ diverse construction, stone and industrial needs,” say Brian McNeil, operations manager.
