Glen Auden joins in Quebec venture with Cross Lake

Vancouver-based Glen Auden Resources (TSE) has formed a joint venture with Cross Lake Minerals (VSE) to explore two claim groups located in Casa Berardi and Estrees twps. in northwestern Quebec. The two properties comprise 20 and 25 claims respectively, and cover stratigraphic extensions of the Joutel base metal horizon as well as the Agnico Eagle Mines gold mine horizon. Numerous airborne EM anomalies occur on the claims and follow-up ground surveys are planned. Terms of the deal call for Glen Auden to spend $36,075 on the two properties to earn a 50% interest.

Elsewhere, assays are pending from seven holes completed by Goldbelt Mines (VSE) on a 245-claim property optioned from Cross Lake and Glen Auden near Timmins, Ont. The holes tested several geophysical targets along the Shallow River fault system. Goldbelt can earn a 60% interest in those claims by spending $850,000.

Four holes were recently completed on the pair’s Moody Twp. property where Goldbelt is earning a 70% interest by spending $1.6 million on exploration. Assays are pending from that property, also.
