Toronto-based Aur Resources (TSE) is planning to drill the 7-claim Mainstreet base metal property.
The concession, wholly owned by Beaufield Resources (VSE), adjoins Aur’s Lugold property in Louvicourt Twp., Que.
The program is intended to test a copper-zinc massive sulphide target on the western extremity of the claim group. Previous drilling in the area encountered pyritic massive sulphide clasts. At least 2-3 holes are planned, with further drilling to follow as results warrant.
Aur can earn an undivided 60% interest by spending $400,000 on exploration by Aug. 24. To date, it has spent $180,000.
