CIM conference set for Thompson

The seventh Maintenance/ Engineering Operators Conference sponsored by the maintenance/engineering division of the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum (CIM) and hosted by the CIM Thompson, Man., branch, will take place Sept. 27-30, 1992, in the northern Manitoba city.

Theme of the conference will be “continuous improvement,” with the focus on the pursuit of quality in all processes in an increasingly competitive global market place.

Authors are invited to submit abstracts of their papers by Nov. 30, 1991, care of Technical Program Chairman, Kevin Cassidy, Inco Ltd., Thompson, Man. R8N 1P3.
