Toronto-listed Northfield Minerals can earn a half interest in a 1,000-acre property in western Utah.
Known as the Clifton claims, the property contains a gold-silver vein system running up to 70 ft. wide and 1,000-3,000 ft. long. It already has a proven and probable reserve of 213,000 oz. gold grading 0.069 oz. per ton and 41 million oz. silver grading 13.3 oz.
To verifty continuity, the company plans to trench the entire length of one of the veins.
The property is completely permitted and Northfield has an option on a 750-ton-per-day Merrill-Crowe processing plant.
If it exercises its option to earn the half interst, Northfield will raise US$7 million for development.
