Results are in hand for three holes drilled by Hol-Lac Gold Mines (CDN) on its Carissa gold mine property in South Pass City, Wyo.
Hole 94-1, drilled below the fifth level at the mine to a depth of 667 ft., intersected three zones of mineralization. The first zone averaged 1.09 oz. gold per ton over 24 ft., including an intercept of 5.27 oz. gold over 4 ft. The other two zones averaged 0.09 oz. over 6 ft. and 0.02 oz. over 13.8 ft. Hole 94-2 , 200 ft. east of 94-1, reached a depth below the fifth level, which is the lowest working level at the mine. This hole intersected mineralization averaging 0.05 oz. over 15 ft.
Hole 94-3, drilled to a depth of 604 ft., encountered two zones of mineralization. The first averaged 0.15 oz. over 9.5 ft. and assay values are awaited for the second intersection.
To date, seven holes have been drilled, with assay results pending on Holes 3 to 7. Drilling continues on the eighth.
