Junior Consolidated Ramrod Gold (TSE) has released more results from an ongoing drill program at the Matthews property in the Wenatchee district of eastern Washington state.
The company controls properties along a 3-mile strike length of the Eagle Creek fault zone. The current progam is testing a mineralized zone encountered by a recent hole, 94-10, which intersected 50 ft. grading 0.26 oz. gold per ton from 1,945 to 1,995 ft.
The same zone was also intersected by a subsequent hole, 94-10A, drilled from the same collar as 94-10 but directed 100 ft. north. The hole encountered about 190 ft. of silicified sedimentary rocks from 1,830 to 2,020 ft. Intercepts from this hole are: 5 ft. of 0.113 oz. gold and 0.420 oz. silver per ton; 10 ft. of 0.076 oz. gold and 5.88 oz. silver; and 25 ft. of 0.489 oz. gold and 1.49 oz. silver, which includes 5 ft. of 2.2 oz. gold and 4.3 oz. silver.
Hole 94-11 was directed to test the zone 100 ft south of 94-10. The best gold-silver intercepts from this hole are: 15 ft. of 0.061 oz. gold and 1.63 oz. silver; and 40 ft. of 0.1 oz. gold and 1.32 oz. silver, which includes 10 ft. of 0.224 oz. gold and 0.48 oz. silver.
More drilling is planned for this zone, and for other gold targets along the strike extension of the Eagle Creek fault zone.
