Drilling will soon begin at the Arizona project 30 miles southeast of Lake Havasu, Ariz.
HRC Development (VSE) has budgeted $175,000 for the program, which will entail drilling 15 reverse-circulation holes to define and expand the gold mineralization known to exist.
HRC estimates a drill-indicated resource of 1 million tons grading 0.033 oz. gold per ton.
Preliminary metallurgical work returned leach recoveries of more than 96%.
Gold mineralization is hosted in well-fractured, hematite-altered quartzites within a metamorphic core complex.
Gold values of up to 0.15 oz. are also associated with fault zones, which are believed to have provided the conduits for movement of mineralizing fluids into the well-broken quartzites.
