The WOL property is believed to host the downdip extension of Expatriate’s Wolverine deposit (6.2 million tonnes of 12.66% zinc, 1.33% copper and 1.55% lead, plus 1.76 grams gold and 371 grams silver per tonne), whereas the Goal Net property is 6 km south of the GP4F deposit, in the Kudz Ze Kaya part of the district.
GP4F hosts an inferred resource of 6.4% zinc, 0.1% copper and 3.1% lead, plus 2 grams gold and 90 grams silver. The larger Kudz Ze Kaya deposit contains a resource of 11.3 million tonnes grading 5.9% zinc, 0.9% copper and 1.5% lead, plus 1.3 grams gold and 133 grams silver.
The first hole drilled on the WOL claims earlier this summer returned 7.4 metres (true thickness) of massive sulphides grading 13.56% zinc, 1.16% lead, 0.68% copper, 152 grams silver and 0.59 gram gold. A second hole hit weak mineralization. The third will test the horizon northeast of the first hole.
At Goal Net, previous drilling intersected semi-massive sulphide mineralization in a gently dipping quartz porphyry rhyolite strata. While results were low-grade, the mineralization contained low levels of selenium (a concentrate contaminant), as is the case at the GP4F deposit at Kudz Ze Kaya. The next hole will target a geophysical conductor similar to one associated with the GP4F deposit. Elsewhere, a series of gravity, magnetic and electromagnetic targets are being evaluated for drill-testing.
