Letter to the editor Seeks Red Lake information

I am endeavoring to locate the daughter of the late mining pioneer, Horace G. Young, (1881- 1966). I believe she is Mrs Wilhelmina Charlton, last known living in Calgary, Alta. I represent the Red Lake Museum and we are trying to locate photographs of the people who had been connected with Red Lake in its early years, Mr Young being one of these. I would very much like to hear from Mrs Charlton or any other relative.

Also, I am trying to locate any family of the late Ray Howey, who died in 1951 in Toronto, also a noted mining pioneer.

Any assistance would be very much appreciated. John E. Richthammer Curator, Red Lake Museum Red Lake, Ont.
