The shares of Calgary-based Tyler Resources began trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the stock symbol “tys” effective April 28.
The original listing is in the mining category for 6,674,833 common shares, of which 3,150,563 shares are issued and outstanding and 3,524,270 shares are reserved for issuance.
The company holds or is acquiring interest in three mineral projects in Saskatchewan, all at the exploration stage, and has minor oil and gas interests in the U.S.
Tyler has a right to earn up to a 50.1% interest by spending up to $1 million on or before Oct 31, 1989 in the Weedy Lake gold property in northern Saskatchewan. An independently recommended program calls for further exploration, diamond drilling and possibly a bulk sample analysis to cost a total of $900,000.
Tyler is also the registered holder of the Parker Lake palladium-gold prospect in northern Saskatchewan. It has farmed out a 50% joint venture working interest to a related company. A $200,000 exploration program is planned for the property.
The company has an option to obtain a 45% interest in the Larocque-Perepeltz gold property, also in northern Saskatchewan. An independently recommended program calls for further exploration including diamond drilling to cost a total of about $335,000.
