Weaco Res. funds Esso drill program

Eight drill targets have been outlined by a $200,000 geological, geochemical and geophysical program carried out by Esso Minerals Canada on the Aimee gold prospect near Flin Flon, Man.

These targets are being tested by a $300,000 drill program slated to begin mid-January. The exploration program is funded by Weaco Resources. Weaco must spend an additional $400,000 in 1989 to earn a 47% interest in Esso’s option to earn a 65% interest in the 11,000- ac property. Nor-Acme Gold Mines retains a 35% interest.
