Messeguay, partners boost Delta reserves

The tonnage calculation of the D8 north, D8 south and D9 zones, following the 1987 drilling program at the Delta project in northern Quebec, stands at about one million tonnes of possible and potential reserves, Messeguay Mines and Oasis Resources report.

The tonnage contains grades of 2.63% nickel, 1.11% copper and 2.25 g per tonne platinum group metals.

Messeguay and Oasis, which have a 15% and 34% interest, respectively, in the property, located in the Cape Smith region, report the 1987 program increased the reserve tonnage four-fold. Third partner in the group, with a 51% interest, is Falconbridge Ltd.
