The properties also contain gold mineralization in veins and shears in carboniferous quartzite, said Interquest.
Under an agreement, Interquest is scheduled to pay out 250,000 shares over three years and spend $100,000(US) on exploration.
According to Chairman William Koyle, 5,205 tons of ore grading 5.25% lead, 11% zinc, 5.9 oz silver and 0.01 oz gold per ton have already been extracted from the property.
Recent grab samples assayed as high as 1.852 oz gold, 2.67 oz silver, 15.4% lead and 1.14% zinc. “Sampling records indicate that the mineralization taken from a depth of 80 ft has an apparent width of 100 ft,” Koyle said.
Exploration at Broadwater is expected to begin this fall.
