Nebex hits gold in Shear 20 zone

A hole drilled by Nebex Resources (ASE) to test a deep, induced-polarization anomaly has intersected what appears to be a new gold zone near Yellowknife, N.W.T.

Averaging 0.32 oz. gold per ton over 16.2 ft., the discovery is hosted in the Shear 20 zone, near Daigle Lake, about 6 miles north of Royal Oak Mines’ Giant operation.

Hole NB-94-1 cut a 65-ft. section of mineralized quartz-sericite schist at a depth of 750 ft.

Drilling to test other such anomalies associated with the 5-mile-long structure will be completed in March.
