Eight reverse circulation holes of a 21-hole program on the Secret Pass deposit, part of the Daisy Gold project in southern Nevada, have been completed by Inter-Rock Gold (TSE).
Of the eight holes drilled, five intersected significant gold mineralization.
Hole D-268, on the north flank of the deposit, intersected 155 ft. averaging 0.028 oz. gold per ton in oxidized mineralization and 0.016 oz. over 50 ft. in sulphide mineralization.
Hole D-270, 800 ft. apart from D-268, intersected 0.011 oz. over 265 ft. in oxidized mineralization and 205 ft. of 0.016 oz. in sulphide mineralization. Both holes extended the deposit to the northwest and the southwest. Three holes drilled on the southern flank intersected similar styles and grades of mineralization. The best intersection in the sulphide mineralization was 0.029 oz. over 150 ft.; and in the oxidized mineralization, a section averaged 0.0322 oz. over 260 ft. The holes were spaced at 400-ft. intervals and all the intersections were between 165 and 550 ft. below surface.
The drilling was completed as part of an 11,000-ft. program to test for extensions of Secret Pass. In addition to the other reverse circulation holes, the company plans to drill two core holes totaling 1,000 ft. to test the gold recoveries of the oxidized and sulphide mineralization.
