The Canada Centre for Mineral and Energy Technology (CANMET) has opened a mining research laboratory in Sudbury, Ont.
Situated on Kelly Lake Road, the new lab will carry out research in rockbursts, backfill and mine ventilation.
CANMET is part of the federal ministry, Natural Resources Canada.
