Tribute’s Arrow holes hit mark (November 27, 2006)

Analytical results from two drill holes by Tribute Minerals (TBM-V, TBMIF-O) at the Garnet Lake property in northwestern Ontario have shown zinc and minor copper mineralization.

The holes, Tribute’s last two of the current drill campaign, tested areas west of the known Arrow zone, where a resource has been previously outlined. One hole, testing downdip to the west, intersected three zones: one was 5.2 metres long, grading 0.56% zinc and 0.15% copper; another graded 2.2% zinc and 0.39% copper over 2.35 metres; and a third graded 2.11% zinc, and 0.18% copper over 2.1 metres. All three had credits in silver, gold and indium.

A second hole, testing updip on the western extension, cut 1 metre grading 4.28% zinc, 0.1% copper, and minor silver, gold and indium.

Earlier drilling on the east end of the deposit encountered mainly low-grade zinc mineralization, but one hole assayed 9.6% zinc, 0.66% copper, 0.7 gram gold, 23.8 grams silver, and 33.2 grams indium over a core length of 4.15 metres. Tribute geologists calculated the true width of the intersection at 3.2 metres.

Previous drill campaigns on the Arrow zone showed an indicated resource of 1.3 million tonnes at average grades of 8.12% zinc, 0.81% copper, 0.6 gram gold and 22.9 grams silver per tonne, and 574,000 tonnes grading 4.34% zinc, 0.87% copper, 0.8 gram gold and 22.3 grams silver per tonne.
