Australian junior RTG Mining (TSX: RTG) has tasked Lycopodium (ASX: LYL) and Knight Piesold help finish the feasibility study on its Mabilo copper-gold project.
Lycopodium has been awarded the metallurgical work for the second phase of the undertaking, which includes: variability testing, reagent optimization, grind-size optimization and thickening, and filtering testing.
Knight Piesold will be responsible for studies associated with water balance and management, tailings storage facility options, and seismic and geotechnical design considerations for process plant components.
The Mabilo copper-gold project is located in Camarines Norte province, on Luzon Island in the Philippines. RTG expects the feasibility study by the third quarter of this year.
