Whoever wrote the article cannot believe what the assays show or does not want to believe them. You should have given Mr. Jensen, the president of the company , the chance to come back and rebut the falsehoods in your article.
This is why we buy your newspaper: to keep abreast of the movements of stocks and to obtain information about them. When the information is tainted and false, then your newspaper has not told the truth.
An article by Mr. Jensen would help offset the damage done by the article. This is the only way to be fair to the stockholders of the company.
I will be looking forward to reading the renewed article concerning Global on the front page of The Northern Miner soon. Sims McDonald, Van Vleck, Texas
Seems your newspaper is over- emphasizing the stability and fairness of the Toronto unlisted COAT system.
I don’t think much more of the floor trading system, either.
Beef is, I put a bid in on the unlisted market for Mount Pleasant Mines at 56 cents going to 63 cents , but the quote shows 50 cents -$1.50, bid and ask, and h asn’ t changed in more than three weeks.
I contacted my broker, but he says the unlisted stocks are mostly controlled by the floor traders. Where’s the fairness in that? And where are the Mounties th at are supposed to be checking the market? Don Allen, Halifax, N.S.
