Windarra reports La Ronge results

Windarra holds a 20% interest in the Preview Lake project together with Cameco — A Canadian Mining & Energy Corp. (50%) and Uranerz Exploration and Mining (30%). The property is located 28 miles north of La Ronge, Sask.

Initial drilling, under way since January, has concentrated on the Keya and Bakos zones situated at the edge of the property. To date, more than 6,000 ft have been completed in 14 holes. Assays have been received from 11 holes with the best intersections as follows:

Width Grade Hole (ft) (oz/t) 12 6.5 0.21

6.5 0.26 13 12.4 0.31

6.5 0.14

6.5 0.11 15 19.6 0.16 22 19.6 0.46

According to Windarra, current drilling has tested a 2,000-ft length of the Bakos structure, and when combined with drill results from last year, indicates gold values over a 2,600-ft strike length.

Drill sections are at 300-600 ft spacings, indicating considerable infill drilling is required to verify continuity of the zones.

Elsewhere on the property, geological reserves totalling 544,200 tons averaging 0.36 oz gold per ton have been outlined in the Pap SW zone. A decision on whether to implement an underground program on the Pap SW zone is expected this year.
