With feature speakers Eira Thomas, Grenville Thomas, and Matt MansonThe Northern Miner is pleased to once again bring the mining community together with a special Diamonds in Canada Symposium to be held on June 11, 2018, from 11 am to 2 pm at the Fairmont Royal York hotel in Toronto.

The agenda will include presentations by executives from five leading diamond mining companies plus panels featuring the successes and challenges of Canada’s diamond industry.

The iconic featured speakers have played critical roles in Canadian diamond mining history: Eira Thomas, CEO of Lucara Diamond; Grenville Thomas, chairman of North Arrow Minerals; and Matt Manson, president and CEO of Stornoway Diamond.

There will be a Special Presentation by Paul Zimnisky — the New York-based independent diamond industry analyst and consultant, who will give his insights into the state of the diamond market and where it is heading.

The occasion will also serve to launch the June issue of Diamonds in Canada, which has been faithfully covering the Canadian diamond mining industry for over 12 years.

Complimentary lunch and refreshments will be served.
