The mining industry gathered in Toronto in early March for PwC Canada’s fourth annual Art of Mining event, which showcases mining innovation through a photo competition.
This year’s contest featured 20 photo submissions from projects and actors across the globe.
With more than 2,000 votes cast, the grand prize went to Tugliq Energy and Raglan Mine, a subsidiary of Glencore, which received a $10,000 that will be directed to a charity of the winners’ choice. IDM Mining took second place and a $3,000 charitable donation. Third place went to a submission from Lundin Mining.
