Nickel Creek Platinum (TSX: NCP; US-OTC: NCPCF) is aiming to have its Nickel Shaw project ready for what CEO Stuart Harshaw says will be a jump in global demand for nickel over the next five years.
The project in southwest Yukon contains almost 2.5 billion lb. of nickel and 7 million oz. of platinum and palladium, according to a prefeasibility study released in August. The company is next tackling a feasibility study including how the project’s tailings can sequester carbon, the CEO says in a new video. He also touches on the involvement of the nearby Kluane First Nation.
