Catherine McLeod-Seltzer, the independent chair of Kinross Gold (TSX: K, NYSE: KGC), joined The Northern Miner’s Canadian Mining Symposium on Oct. 13 in London to chat about her career.
McLeod-Seltzer often found herself in rooms full of grey-haired men. Yet, she shattered glass ceilings in the industry as she steered projects in South America, co-founded Bear Creek Mining (CVE: BCM) and pulled Kinross out of Russia. Along the way she became a bit of an expert on political risk, alpacas and what life is like in the high Andes.
