50 YEARS AGO –FEBRUARY, 1937– MINING POLICY PROPOSED IN HOUSE

Sen. Arthur Sauve (Rigaud, Conservative) has given notice in the Upper House that he would move a resolution for the establishment of a many-sided Canadian m ining policy aimed at, among other things, preventing dishonest practices and el iminating immigration which might bring spies and other undesirable aliens to th e mining fields.
