An important new gold discovery has been quietly worked at surface and probed by drilling on the Cassels-Duval property in the north part of Bousquet Twp., Que.
Encouraging gold values were returned at surface in channel-sampling a wide mineralized break in greenstone. Several ore sections were involved in the explored length of 500 ft. Stringers and gold enrichment were revealed with disseminated sulphide mineralization of pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite in total zone widths of 45-60 ft. Reprinted from The Northern Miner, March, 1937.
