Abacus stakes Lake property

Junior Abacus Minerals (VSE) has staked 2,000 hectares on the Lake property near Iskut River, B.C.

The company arrived at the area by following a train of mineralized boulders in talus, which led to a 12-ft.-wide bedrock source at the edge of a glacier. Mineralization includes sphalerite, galena, tetrahedrite and chalcopyrite hosted in a carbonate breccia. Mapping, sampling and geophysical work are planned for 1995.

Significant values from boulders sampled are as follows:

Sample Gold Silver Zinc Copper Lead

5601 810 69.7 9.03 1.23 0.07

5603 tr. 76.8 38.40 1.58 0.77
