Aeroquest signs Arctic deal with GX Technology

Aeroquest, a subsidiary of Aeroquest International (AQL-V, AQSFF-O), has signed a deal with GX Technology as part of Aeroquest’s recently adopted petroleum services initiative.

The contract, to be completed by the fall, calls on Aeroquest to conduct a fixed-wing magnetic survey in excess of 100,000 linekm in the Banks Island and Beaufort Sea region of the Canadian Arctic.

GX Technology, a subsidiary of ION Geophysical Corp., will use the data to help with ION’s seismic programs and hydrocarbon exploration near the Beaufort- Mackenzie basin, Banks basin, Sverdrup basin and the Arctic Coastal Margin.
