Aeroquest Ltd., a subsidiary of Aeroquest International (AQL-T), has entered into a contract with GX Technology Corporation as part of Aeroquest’s recently adopted petroleum services initiative.
The contract, to be completed by this autumn, calls on Aeroquest to conduct a fixed wing magnetic survey in excess of 100,000 line km in length, in the Banks Island and Beaufort Sea region of the Canadian Arctic.
GX Technology, a subsidiary of ION Geophysical Corp., will use the data to help with ION’s hydrocarbon exploration near the Beaufort-Mackenzie basin, Banks basin, Sverdrup basin and the Arctic Coastal Margin.
