Am Bonanza tests Gold Bar

Vancouver — American Bonanza Gold Mining (BZA-V) has begun drilling at the Gold Bar property in the prolific Battle Mountain-Eureka mineral trend of central Nevada.

The junior is testing for bonanza-grade, Carlin-type deposits at depth, where feeder structures intersect the favourable Roberts Mountains formation.

The property produced 485,000 oz. gold from 7.5 million tons grading 0.074 oz. gold per ton from 1987 to 1994. Recoveries averaged 87%.

American Nevada Gold (AGN-V) can earn a half-stake in the property in return for $115,000 and the issuance of 800,000 shares over three years. American Bonanza is the operator.
