Americomm buys Nevada properties

Oklahoma-based Americomm (NASDAQ) will acquire all the Nevada gold interests of Southwestern Gold (TSE). The deal includes 148 unpatented, non-producing mining claims contained within four properties.

The purchase price of 4 million restricted shares of Americomm common stock will give Southwestern control of about 14% of its stock. The deal is subject to the necessary approvals.

Americomm plans to begin exploring one or more of these properties in 1995.
