AMF ventures into Finland

America Mineral Fields (AMZ-T) has won the right to explore for diamonds in a highly prospective region of Finland.

The Finnish goverment announced that the Dallas, Tex.-based company is entitled to carry out prospecting in the Lentira region, where diamond prospects were outlined by regional surveys conducted by the government.

Lamproitic intrusives identified by the Geological Survey of Finland are similar to those of the adjacent region of Kostamuksha, which proved to be diamondiferous.
