AN ARCTIC CLIMATE

All of Greenland has an arctic climate. The average temperature in the warmest month doesn’t exceed 10degC. But because Greenland covers a large swath north to south, between 60degN and 85deg, the weather can vary widely. Generally, it becomes colder, more dry and less stormy the further north one goes. Most of the island has polar night in winter and midnight sun in summer.
