Anglo drops Muskox

Vancouver — Anglo American (AAUK-Q) has dropped its option on Muskox Minerals‘ (MSK-V) Muskox Intrusive project in the Coronation Gulf region of Nunavut.

Anglo spent two years and $2.5 million exploring the platinum-group-metal/copper/nickel/gold-mineralized intrusive complex. Work included airborne and ground geophysics, geochemistry, and drilling of eight core holes.

Muskox plans further drilling on its Atlin gold project in northwestern British Columbia. Previous drilling cut high-grade mineralization in bedrock beneath the Pine Creek placer gold gravels.
