By mid-June, drills will be turning at the Minaspamba gold project in northern Peru, reports property owner Oroperu Resources (CDN).
The program will explore a brecciated, mineralized zone exposed over a strike length of at least 600 metres. Results from adits and pits in the structure include 6.3 grams gold per tonne over 8 metres.
The first phase will attempt to determine the zone’s true width and continuity at depth.
Oroperu has completed the first phase of drilling at the nearby Toro gold project, one of the gold properties held by the junior in northern Peru.
