Anomalous platinum assayed by Stockmen

Anomalous platinum values have been assayed following a reconnaissance geochemical survey of claims held by Stockmen Energy in the Ungava area of northern Quebec.

Of 125 grab samples collected, 80 were assayed. Of these, eight assayed above 100 parts per bva area of northern Quebec.

Of 125 grab samples collected, 80 were assayed. Of these, eight assayed above 100 parts per billion (ppb) platinum. Background values range around 15 ppb.

The highest values came from the Forcier Lake permit area where one sample assayed 492 ppb platinum, 642 ppb palladium and 118 parts per million gold.
