Antares drilling three Zimbabwean properties

Drilling by Antares Mining and Exploration (TSE) between the 150- and 610-metre levels of the Black Cat zone has resulted in an inferred resource estimate of 250,000 tonnes averaging between 4.35 and 6.22 grams per tonne.

Gold from the Black Cat is hosted in a shear zone found on the Lady Lina property in Zimbabwe. A second shear zone has been intersected with two drill holes on the 180-metre level.

Results from four drill holes completed on the Black Cat range between 4.35 grams and 8.08 grams gold per tonne over widths ranging from 0.65 to 4.17 metres.

The company will complete six exploration drill holes on the property and increase underground development from the current 200 metres per month to 600 metres per month by July.

In other news, Antares has started drilling at the past producing Prince Olaf and Farvic gold mines in Zimbabwe. The company has acquired a 1-year option on the properties which historically produced over 100,000 oz.
