ATCO stocks up on camp gear in Timmins

Mining infrastructure company ATCO Structures & Logistics (ASL) is set to acquire the assets of Timmins, Ont.-based Woodgreen Homes & Trailer Sales.

ASL, which is a part of the larger ATCO Group of Companies (ACO-T), agreed to acquire Woodgreen Homes & Trailer Sales to establish a foundation in the Timmins mining region, one of its target business sectors.

“Establishing a presence in northern Ontario is very important to ASL,” said Harry Wilmot, president and COO of ATCO Structures & Logistics, in a press release. “The opportunity to bring our excellence in camp services and catering, industrial noise control and modular buildings closer to the mining industry is an exciting opportunity.”

Woodgreen, which has been operating in Timmins, for 40 years, has a staff of 19.

In addition to ATCO Group’s manufacturing facilities and operations worldwide, it has offices in Toronto and Ottawa.
