Having discovered five massive sulphide lenses on its Mobrun mine property near Rouyn-Noranda, Que., Audrey Resources (TSE) has set out to look for additional deposits on the property. The company says it will spend $400,000 on a 20,000-ft. drill campaign designed to assess previously identified favorable geophysical and geological targets.
The drills are expected to be turning until the end of December and any new discoveries will be shared equally by Audrey and joint venture partner Minnova (TSE). Aside from the new C and 1100 lenses, Audrey Vice-President Michel Bouchard, said he is aware of some excellent targets and geochemical signatures elsewhere on the property.
Audrey is funding the exploration program, while Minnova has the right to back in at a later date.
