Aur Res. drilling Beaufield prospect

Drilling has begun on the Mainstreet property in Louvicourt Twp. near Val d’Or, Que. Aur Resources (TSE) and Beaufield Consolidated Resources (VSE) report.

Aur may earn a 60% interest in the project by spending $400,000 on exploration by Aug. 31, 1994 (including $125,000 by Aug. 31 of this year). Aur plans to drill four holes, representing about 4,500 ft. in total, to test for copper-zinc-silver-gold massive-sulphide deposits along a mineralized horizon on the southern part of the property.

The Mainstreet property sits southeast of the large, massive-sulphide Louvicourt deposit being developed by Aur and its partners.
