Beaufield, Aur set to drill

Drilling on the Mainstreet project in Louvicourt Twp. in northwestern Quebec will commence Sept. 3, property owner Beaufield Resources (TSE) announced.

Project operator is Aur Resources (TSE), which has an option to earn a 60% interest in the property by spending $400,000 on exploration work by Aug. 31, 1994.

Two initial holes will be drilled to test two copper-gold-silver targets recently identified through mapping and survey work.

One hole will test for an eastern extension of the Surprise Lake zone on Aur’s Bevcon and Courageous properties immediately to the west. The other will test an anomaly north of Aur’s Lugold prospect.
