Bema’s Chilean deposit could be a big one

Forty-five reverse circulation holes were drilled on an area covering 3,000×1,700 ft. Bema reports that the drilling has outlined a large gold mineralized oxide body that is thickening and remains open to the northeast.

The company reports that preliminary coarse cyanide bottle roll tests suggests that the oxide mineralization is amenable to heap leaching with low cyanide consumption. Assays for silver and copper content are pending.

Bema Gold indicates it is planning a major drill program and engineering study to commence in mid-January.
