Partners Bethlehem Resources (TSE) and Goldnev Resources (VSE) will soon finish repaying the loan they received to reactivate the Goldstream mine near Revelstoke, B.C.
The final payment of US$528,000 is expected to be made in mid-October. In 1991, the companies borrowed $6.2 million from Nippon Mining & Metals and Sumitomo.
The joint venture recently received results from the remaining three holes of a 6-hole program designed to test the down-plunge extension of the known Goldstream orebody.
All the holes intersected the zone and the companies plan an additional three holes to test the zone further. Results from the 9-hole program will be used to update reserves and development plans.
Drill results are as follows:
Hole Interval Width Copper Zinc
(metres) (metres) (%) (%)
GS-94-4 436.28-441.86 5.25 3.62 0.62
