Black Hawk executive expands holdings

Recent insider trading transactions reported by the Ontario Securities Commission in its OSC Bulletin include the following:

  • Afriore (AFO-V) — Harvey White, executive of a company affiliated with Afriore, bought 25,500 shares at 80 cents-$1 each and sold 15,000 shares at 75 cents-$1.05 to hold 430,363 shares.
  • Aurizon Mines (ARZ-T) — Ian Walton, director, bought 20,000 shares indirectly at 58 cents and sold an equivalent amount indirectly at 85 cents to hold 727,500 shares in all.
  • Black Hawk Mining (BHK-T) — Paul Caldwell, officer, bought 78,002 shares at 17-18 cents to hold 206,163 shares.
  • Canarc Resource (CCM-T) — Bradford Cooke, director, exercised 200,000 options at 25 cents, sold the resulting shares at 25 cents and was granted an equivalent number of options (which can be exchanged for shares at 26 cents each) to hold 302,600 shares and 1 million options.
  • Etruscan Resources (EET-T) — RS Investment Management, owner of more than 10%, sold 76,000 shares indirectly at US22-23 cents to hold 4.93 million shares indirectly; and Glenn Holmes, officer, bought 5,000 shares at 45 cents to hold 41,800 shares.
  • Manhattan Minerals (MAN-T) — Brian Lock, director, sold 35,800 shares directly at $5.65-6.00 and another 10,100 shares indirectly at $5.90 and exercised 25,000 options held directly at $2.60 to hold 124,330 shares in all and 25,000 options directly.
  • Rex Diamond (RXD-T) — Serge Muller, director and owner of more than 10% of the company, bought 1.3 million shares privately at US$2 per share and was granted 750,000 options at $1.80 to hold 18.3 million shares and 2 million options.
  • Rhonda Mining (RDM-A) — Glen Alston, director, bought 249,000 shares at 21-31 cents and sold 129,000 shares at 24-30 cents to hold 830,750 shares; Judith Stoeterau, officer, bought 5,000 shares indirectly at 32 cents to hold 224,000 shares in all.
