Bourlamaque-Nord yields gold

A bulk sample of ore from the Bourlamaque-Nord project of Lithos (ME) has yielded 2,484 oz. gold, 93.4% of which was recovered.

The 10,377 tons of ore extracted from the property, which is the site of the past-producing Wrightbar gold mine, netted Lithos $425,000.

The company’s long-term objective is to rehabilitate the West zone of the old mine, double production levels and increase reserves at depth. Current reserves are 304,657 tons grading 0.227 oz. gold per ton.

Lithos is expected to make a production decision shortly.
